At what point do you stop forgetting to eat?
I think that's a good idea. You'd think with the kids I'd remember but the otehr day I forgot to feed them too!

Well my daughter kept saying I'm hungry, but she's always hungry (she weighs 31lbs and is 42" tall and she eats more than her brother who is 5 years older, she's an eating machine), so I gave her a snack (an orange I think). But when my son came and said Mom I'm really hungry, I then realized it was 1:30 and we normally eat lunch at 11:30! I felt awful.

My yongest is almost 7 and a sweet freak (hmmm wonder where she got that from?!). She will eat anything if she will get a sweet. I'm trying to change her thinking to balance her diet so that sweets are a sometimes treat. I'm not sure what I will do after I have surgery. I know sugar will be out for me for sure.
I'm so glad your son finally got lunch!

My daughter is a protein hound. If it had a mother she'll eat it. She likes fruit and raw veggies too but not a big carb fan. She's underweight for her height so the doc wants us to feed her whenever she's hungry. We do and we keep sweets to once a day or less.

Sounds like your daughter is naturally on the right track already. Mine is not underweight, not overweight either...muscles from gymnastics. She does choose fruit tho over other carbs for a snack which is good. She likes fish, imagine that...only one of my kids to like fish at this age! I got some sugar free popcycles and she is jammin on those.
Do you plan out the days food ahead of time, or when the timer goes off you go hunting. Like today for lunch I remembered to eat but I thought it 1) had more protein than it did and 2) had more calories. It was only 76 calories and 6g of protein so even though I remembered because I hadn't figured it out before hand I'd really short changed myself.

I always, always plan my food for the day by entering it into my food calculator. I may not always eat everything I plan, but I find it is much easier to deal with the kid schedule and not turn to food I know I shouldn't eat.
Having a plan for each day really helps. I have a bunch of frozen meals in the freezer just in case.

4 months out..always forget...husband is on to me all the time..he will remind me and ill be doing something and then he will have to remind me again...i like the feeling of never having hunger...but its also hard to remember to eat when there isnt something there to trigger you that you are hungry.
