Hi Mechelle.  I'm only 17 months post-op so I hope it's ok for me to chime in here.  I had Dr Curry also and he used a 36 bougie.  Obviously not over sewn because I can eat a lot more than some on here (like frisco for instance).  If I'm consuming veggies as part of my meal, I eat 2-3 oz of protein/2 oz veggie.  Protein alone (chicken breast, meatloaf, pork chop....) I can easily eat 4 oz.  I'm not eating until "stuffed" either, just satisfied.  I've had great results but wish my sleeve was smaller.

This is a 3 ounce chicken pattie (from Costco, AmyLu's sweet carmelized onion chicken burger with red bell peppers and gouda cheese, and it's gluten free) with a sprinkling of Asiago cheese and some veggies.  This meal is satisfying for me.  It's a mainstay meal since around 6 months post-op, and still feels the same in my sleeve as it did at 6 months post-op.

HI All--I am 16 months out. I eat on average 2-2.5 ounces protein at dinner (not at breakfast or lunch--much lighter on these meals) followed with a little salad or roasted vegies. I am still at 20-30 grams carbs every day. (gave up wheat/gluten too). Still need to lose about 5 pounds. When I go into maintenance, I will add back in protein and fat calories only.
