I don't know what happened but I do know that a lot of women become extremely sensitive the first few months after surgery. I know that I felt attacked a few times in a few different situations. Also, since I kept my weight loss a secret at work, I felt like any mention of it at work that wasn't the nicest, kindest, sweetest thing, had some kind of negativity behind it, which would cause me to respond in a negative manner and it had the potential to snowball out of control.

Especially right after surgery, it might not be everyone being "haters" but it could be our sensitive, overly hormonal asses. Granted, some people are rude for no reason but if you're walking in to a room and all of a sudden everyone who is usually nice have just turned into evil *****es it might just be you being sensitive.

Things will settle down soon. You will feel more comfortable, people will stop giving a **** about you losing weight and not make any comments (rude or nice) and your hormones will calm down. The storm will pass.

I truly understand about the haters at work..I had my wls 09/20/2011 and dealt with all the nasty remarks..you have to grow some tough skin and know that we did this for ourself and not the haters..This was my number 1 telling anyone at work..Dont worry girl let them hate while we continue to get healthy!
