Anyone else getting sleeved next week?

I'm getting sleeved next wednesday and I can't believe it's almost here...
I have been a good little pre-op'er, I have ordered all my samples, I ordered my case of Isopure Zero Carb the variety pack (luckily no broken bottles, I was worried about shipping). I ordered my vitamins earlier this week, so hopefully if they don't come in today it will be early next week.
I still have a few things to get from the grocery store but other than that I am all set. I am starting my leave of absence today, originally it was going to start on Monday but the last few days my back has been in some pain (2 herniated disks) and I'm gonna take the extra day to try and rest my back so I won't be in pain next week especially going into surgery.
I'm doing good with the pre-op diet, My surgeon suggests one shake and 2 sensible meals, all should be less than 650 calories less than 10 grams fat and less than 30 carbs. I have just been doing shakes cause it's just easier but it's nice to be able to snack and chew if I feel the need. I have been feeling more cravings lately. Ever feel like you wanna punch someone in the face for eating bad for you food right in front of you...lol
I just wanted to check in with my other future sleevers and see how you are doing? And what your thinking? I hope everything is going well for ya'll

ME, ME, ME!!!!! I leave for Texas on Sunday, pre-op appts on Monday, and surgery is Tuesday. I'm so excited! I called and paid the doctor today, and will pay the hospital when I get there on Monday. It's finally here and going to happen.
My pre-op diet consists of 5 protein shakes or bars, and one meal a day. It's gone pretty well since I actually started a detox diet 3 weeks before the pre-op diet. My husband wanted to do the detox diet so I joined him, just didn't take all the detox supplements but it was all fruits and veggies the first week, then could add chicken or fish along with only fruits and veggies the following two weeks. Last night we went to the local bar with my husband's ball team and I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken breast salad while they all ate french fries, cheese curds and greasy burgers. Surprisingly, I didn't miss it at all. I was completely satisfied with my healthy meal. I only missed the popcorn, but being healthy is much more important to me now.
Good luck to you next week!

What part of Texas will you be traveling to Jane? I am in Austin Tx.
For a better part of the pre-op diet it didn't bother me what other people were eating, maybe it's because it's my TOM that I am having more cravings with the salty and the sweet and the greasy...lol I'm getting through it though because your right being healthy for surgery is more important.
Good luck to you as well, I hope you have a speedy recovery!!

I'll be flying to Dallas TX and having my surgery at Forest Park Medical Center with Dr. Nick Nicholson.

I am on Tuesday. Day 6 of liquid diet. I wish my doc let me have sensible meals but whatever. I do 3-4 protein shakes and day and unlimited sugar free liquids. Sugar-free jello and popsicles included. I have lost 11.2lbs since Sunday and, even though I am pretty tired, it has not been as bad as I was expecting. I am looking forward to the surgery more than I have looked forward to anything in a looooong time. Best of luck to everyone else and I look forward to sharing this journey with you.
