I'm definetly not complaining but I can only eat 1-2 oz of food per sitting...liquids a lot more maybe
 4-8 oz a hour....
Sometimes I read here what others are eating around my stage and I am like, what?
I'm a 34 bougie....anyone else feel like they are eating way less than what others are doing or am I on track....?
and ....
How is it possible to cook 2 oz of food....lol.
Time to start feeding the stray cats.

You should only be eating that amount. You cook a little bit and take what you're supposed to eat and put the rest away.  You will wrap your head around it eventually.

I had a similar response, 2 ounces was max with dense protein.  I am now 7.5 months out and can eat 3 ounces of dense protein or /1/2 cup if protein is mixed with something else, or about one cup of vegetable soup with tofu made with chicken broth. I can eat 5 ounces of fage/greek yogurt in one sitting, but takes nearly 20 minutes to get it all down.

Personally, I like to cook enough of something to last for several small meals and then just refrigerate and reheat.  Works great.  I have a 36 bougie.

I  also notice that if my acid reflux is flaring, I think I get some swelling in the lining of the stomach, cause I fill up way faster!

My biggest challenge, getting the water down.  I don't like plain water much...and it really doesn't matter if I put crystal light in it....I just struggle to get down more than 40 ounces of water.  I do drink about 30-40 ounces of chai tea (low carb) made with water and about 6-8 ounces of soy milk for added protein content....So I think I'm doing OK, but would love to get my fluid intake up to 100 ounces.

Just stay the course, and make sure you are getting at least 60 grams of protein a day.....and you will do fine!

As I get further out I will refridgerate my food because at my stage foods(especially meats) are too tough once reheated....sorry should have mentioned that in first post. So i'll just take my 2 oz's and be happy

I'm with ya on the reheated, makes it tough.  But I found that if I reheat in the oven it doesn't get tough, only in the microwave.  I got a bunch of 4 oz tupperware containers that I use to freeze things.  It makes it easy for work or portions...

Your doing great!  Everyone is so different and we differ from our ownselves daily! lol

A few weeks ago I could eat 3 turkey meatballs, when this week I got to 1 1 /2 to 2 and was stuffed!

Yogurt I can slurp it down!

I have a 34 too..and it takes me forever to eat anything of substance...I can work on yogurt for an hour....or more sometimes...I have to eat every couple of hours or there is no way I can get in my calories or protein...drinking is an all day project with me rarely getting enough in...I am 6 months post op and hoping in another 6 months there were be a little more room in the ol' tummy but for now its good....i've lost 125 lbs and am thrilled with the results...

Tee, I feel the same way at times. Like when I'm eating something good and I would like to eat more of it, but the restriction it is so worth it.
I make one chicken breast, cut it up into strips, then cut the strips into 1 inch pieces.  I put them into a container in the fridge and take out just 2 pieces at a time for a meal. Same thing with tuna salad, I make it with one can, put into a container and take out 1/4 cup at each meal.
If I eat out, I bring home the lefovers and put them into small containers and eat from them til they are gone.  If you dont have some of those rubbermaid 1/2 cup containers, I would purchase some.  They come in really handy

Good Luck.
