Fast food is garbage food...

Oh blow me. I get a McDonald's side salad 3-5 times a week. I get an Arby's side salad occasionally, finger chunk optional. If it makes me lazy to not grow or cut up my own lettuce, so be it. I know I should make my own salad dressing too. I drain a 3 oz can of tuna or chicken and dump that on top. A great meal for me for $2 bucks or less.

I worked at McD's for five years. I worked in supermarket delis for six years. I've seen it all and survived. I'll take my chances with the McD's salad over the e.coli laden sprouts, green onions, etc.

Lots and Lots of preservatives on that lettuce..... regular lettuce turns brown after you cut it in an hour.

You know, I can see both sides to this argument, but I will say that you're totally chicken**** for deleting all of your responses on a thread you started.

If you believe in your stance, why would you delete your posts?  No credibility from here on out with me.

The truth is, I don't debate well, even if I know I am right. I do not like conflict. I have found that you can not change peoples minds when they are closed. Originally I just wanted to give a little information. Then I was getting attacked in a personal way. Its not worth it. I dont like to fight. Its all part of my personality. I can discuss things with rational people but when they attack and get rude. Whats the point? I dont know them, they will never change their minds. It doesn't make any difference in my life.
Dale Carnegie said something like        - Why prove to a man he is wrong? Is that going to make him like you? Why not let him save face? He didn't ask for your opinion. He didn't want it. Why argue with him? You can't win an argument, because if you lose, you lose it; and if you win it, you lose it. Why? You will feel fine. But what about him? You have made him feel inferior, you hurt his pride, insult his intelligence, his judgment, and his self-respect, and he'll resent your triumph. That will make him strike back, but it will never make him want to change his mind. A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still.

Buy Local produce etc where possible, Buy Organic every chance you get.  Food is a business!  It is your body.  We eat so very little now we can afford to buy the best for ourselves.  Egg Yolks are supposed to be yellow orange, not pale yellow!!!

I agree... nothing is perfect   but organic practices and local produce are more sustainable and often time fresher.
