I started mine yesterday and was having dreams of eating cupcakes before I realized I was messing up, lol! I don't even like cupcakes.... Anyway, yep getting closer! I consider my weight loss journey as beginning on the day I start my pre-op diet, although I have lost 40 pounds since the beginning of this year. But you know once you start, It's all down hill from there :)
Edited to add: I lost 3 pounds my first day :D

Hey there, sleeve sister! Started my 2-week diet today as well...mine is 3-4 protein shakes per day plus clear liquids and non-starchy vegetables. Just had soup made from sauteed mushrooms (in Pam, of course), frozen broccoli/cauliflower, basil, and beef broth. It was pretty yummy, and sipping on the soup kept my mind off of all the swirling emotions that have come with really starting the final countdown today. I am allowed diet soda these two weeks, but I have cut way back on that the past few months. Although I won't keep any in the house, I might allow myself some at the movies later while everyone else eats their popcorn....guess I might smuggle in some celery and cuke slices as well. ;)
Good luck in the next two weeks! We can do this!!!

I'm jealous of your vegetables. All I get is 3 protein shakes with 1/4 cup berries and 1/4 cup almonds or walnuts with each one.
Gave up diet Coke almost 8 weeks ago. That was a 25 year addiction. Never done anything harder than that, up until now I guess.
It's 2 PM and my tummy is starting to figure out it only got a shake for lunch instead of the usual salad with meat I've been doing for the last 6 weeks.

Keep your goal in mind when it feels difficult and remember those hard times will pass
