Happy Surgaversary to Me!

Last year I was laying on the table having 85% of my stomach removed. I was nervous and wondered if I was crazy to put myself through it all.
Now I am down 140 lbs. (I need to update my ticker). My BMI has gone from 61 to 35. I am very active and have loads of energy.
There is no question if I would do it over again, vsg has given me a wonderful quality of life!

I hope everyone has a great day and keeps rockin there sleeve.

What an excellent job you have done! I think we all go through that moment or more when we are getting ready for surgery of thinking what am I doing? Am I crazy? It is so good to know that your life one year out is so much happier and healthier. Keep rockin that sleeve!

Awesome good for you you have done a fabulous job. I am heading to the operating room on Monday I hope I am half as successful as you Wow. My son and daughter-inlaw are moving 2000 miles away and leaving on Sunday, the next time we will see them is Christmas, I am hoping for some big changes by then.

Surgery 4 Jun 12 Dr Ponce de Leon in Mexico I was down 57 lbs prior to surgery.
