Obesity Surgery: Stories of Altered Lives (Martha Meana PHD & Lindsey Ricciardi PHD)

I am still post up and someone on OH recommended this book. It talks about real stories of people who have gone through WLS and how they were affected through all of the stages and from many angles. I'm finding it interesting since my biggest concern with having this surgery is the emotional side effects. It doesn't get into nutrition and numbers. It is about people and their experiences before, during and after rapid weight loss.

Women, Food, and God by Geneen Roth.  Completely shifted my relationship with food and my attitude towards my body.  This is the book that really sparked my journey.  Highly recommend it!
