3 months today
It's been 3 months and I couldn't be happier with my results! Like a lot of people, I wish I did this years ago. Yesterday I went to Six Flags and it was the first time in years I didn't have to worry if I was going to fit on the rides. I saw at least three people who did not fit and had to do that "walk of shame". I felt so bad for them and wish I could tell them about this surgery and how it can be a life changer.
I eat 600-800cal a day, try to keep it under 40 carbs and have at least 80g of protein. My NUT said I don't have to be so strict but I am taking the advice of the vets on here and trying to lose all I can before things slow down. Don't hate me but I haven't had stall yet and my biggest "cheat" has been grapes. As for exercise, I use the Walk at Home dvd's 4-5x a week. I never liked to exercise and still don't but for now, at least I'm doing something. Maybe down the road I'll start to get into it and take it up a notch.
To the newbies, if I can do this, anyone can! I spent a lifetime eating **** and not exercising. Being only 3mo out, I still do a lot of planning and thinking about what I'm going to eat but it's so worth it. I'm not totally into regular sizes yet (in Old Navy I am) but I know by the fall, I will be able to shop in all those store I've never even set foot in!
When I have more time to figure out how, I will post some pictures.

Well Done!!! Way to rock your sleeve.
In two decades I've lost a total of 789 pounds. I should be hanging from a charm bracelet. Erma Bombeck

You are doing awesome!
I hear ya on the exercise... I'm learning that if I don't change it up so I'm not doing crap I hate every day, I don't work as hard. This week I've done three different types of workouts in the last five days.
Thanks for the update! I'm just a few weeks behind you, and I think you're doing amazing!

That was one of my very first's NSV!!! I love Six Flags..not just for the rides but the walking around the park is great too. That is still part of my regime every week. I have a season pass with my hubby and we do the whole park first then ride the rides. That extra walking after is just a bonus.
Congrats on no longer walking the "walk of shame" and keep up the good work!
