Any Leakers????

 They have you drink a contrast and take images as it goes down. 

Everyone seems to have different symptoms so I will just speak of mine. I did not have the sever pain many do but I could tell something was wrong. I was blessed to have drains in place after my surgery and while sipping I began to notice that I would fill my drain up when drinking more. I then tested with stopping for a few hours then starting again. I could, i found, fill my drains up at will. I had started making calls at this point. By the next morning I had a fever (from infection starting) and was very tired. I could not kick the fatigue and the doom feeling inside was pushing me to do something. I got in my car and drove back to the Dr. Office. I made my concerns quite well know until they called the Dr. He showed up that evening at my hotel (I was in MX.) I explained my concerns and symptoms and he scheduled me back again that evening for another surgery. Two weeks laster I flew home, still not feeling 100% and chalking it up to all the trama. By the time I landed I had a fever again and was going downhill fast. Went to a clinic the next day and found I still had a leak. Anyway, the long and short of it is, physical symptoms for me were fever and sever fatique. I also had a feeling inside I have never had before or sense that I can only describe as doom, my body was telling me something was wrong. It was all cleared up though with stents placed in my stomach and esophagus. It was miserable but I got passed it and would do it all again knowing I would have to go through the same hell. Like Carmellita said, I went on to rock the **** out of my sleeve and am very happy. It was part of my journey and quite honestly probably the kick I needed to actually follow this through. Death 0 Eric and his sleeve 1...what up...

Here is my story. I had severe bronchitis 2 weeks after surgery and developed a leak from the horrible cough I had. It was found 4 weeks after surgery. I had no fever, but severe center chest pain that radiated to the left breast. Then about 12 hours after the pain started I started throwing up everything I put in my mouth. Listen to your body & do not hesitate calling your dr if something feels "off".
