It totally stopped for me. Gatling my bladder back was one of the big side benefits of losing weight.

I just had surgery on 5/30/12 and I have only lost 19 pounds so far but this has completely stopped for me. And my surgeon said it would and that it was completely due to the weight. I hope this helps.

Losing weight has helped mine a lot.  It isn't gone completely, but then I wasn't overweight
when it started in my early 20's either.   I  now wear one small regular pad everyday (just
in case) instead of a big Poise one.    Of course, I haven't had a major cold or laugh
attack since surgery, so we'll see....

I had a hysterectomy several years ago because they said my uterus was sitting on my bladder and causing both the constant feeling that I had to go and the leaking. It helped for awhile and then it came bac****il I read this post, I NEVER connected it to obesity. Is that nuts? Lol none of the doctors mentioned it. I haven't noticed that it's gone but it's definitely better 50 pounds down. I'm wondering if it goes completely away. I'm curious to see how people respond.

Yep, it gets better!! I had a big problem before surgery, none since dropping some of the pounds.

Anyone have a bladder lift surgery, still have issues, and then they went away after weight loss?
