Slider foods.

Things with a high protein count (greek yogurt) or cottage cheese....I don't consider sliders.  Yes I can eat more of them than I can of steak, chicken, fish , etc.  However, they are healthy and I'm not concerned with a little extra of a healthy food.  I still measure my quantities.

The worse sliders for me and I avoid them if at all possible now are mainly crackers, chips, pretzels.  They crush down to nothing but are seriously high carb and made from wheat (which is not good for you in any form).  They go down way too easily....

Anything crunchy/carby/ewwy gooey consistency.

As I approached the 2 year mark, I think that is when I noticed it, but bread became somewhat of a slider for me.

AND, if I add any of the chips, pretzels, crackers, the inside of a dinner roll, to my dense meat I can fit in a bit more.

First of all, YAY! for the forty pounds!!!  You are doing amazing!

I'm just a bit farther out than you and I haven't found any sliders yet.  Of course, I've not tried a lot of the foods that are notorious for being slider, but I have tried a few things by themselves to see if I could tolerate them (salad, crackers, baked potato --  yeah, I know, but my NUT keeps telling me NOT to limit my carbs so much and increase calories a bit) and after a few bites of each, I could tell I was getting full-ish.  So I definitely only have a bite or two of those kinds of things after I've finished my protein.  Any more and I'd be too full to get in all the protein.
