Where would I find ground flax seeds - and is there a taste?

Look for it in vacuum packed bags. My local stores also have it in he bulk section, but it's generally rancid, and rancid flax meal is something you never want to eat. (shudder)

It adds a kind of nutty taste to whatever you mix it into. We add it to yogurt and use it as the "flour" in muffins.

My muffins have 8 grams of protein, 8.9 of carbs(but 5.9 of those are fibre and you can cut the carbs more by using Splenda or stevia instead of the coconut sugar I use), 9.4 of healthy fats.

My answer is pretty similar. I add 1/4cup of all bran to either my greek yogurt or occassionally oatmeal. Obviously if it's oatmeal, I have to have plenty of protein later in the day. I take 2 fiber gummies per day and I have been incorporating more veggies and even a very little fruit into my diet. This week I sliced an apple and took 1/4 apple with a piece of cheese as a snack. Really good. I also save leftover grilled peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, whatever we have and try to bring a little of that with me to work.

When all else fails I drink a cup of smooth move tea and it has always done the trick.

Want a delicious way to eat an apple?  Add it to tuna.  It is used as a filler (instead of pickle, onion, or celery) just light mayo, tuna and chopped apple.  Delicious......  I also have used chopped pears.  You can also add either to oatmeal as a filler.  Darn, giving myself ideas all on my own - lol

You do have good ideas! I like that one! See - all you had to do was put it out there and you have all sorts of new things to try.
