For the first time in my life I can actually say I was please to hand over a $7,600 payment to the hospital, simply because I know that it leads to the beginning of a much happier and healthier life for me.  Just 5 more full days to wait!  I feel truly blessed to have been given this opportunity to once again enjoy life.

Well if that is full price for self pay sign me up for 2. B/C only Surgeons in Mexico seem to do them for that price. Thats why I will likely be going out of the country for mine.

Well, actually that is the price to the hospital only because I am having to have hiatal hernia repair and my insurance is paying for that proceedure whi*****ludes operating room and hospital stay.  That portion is just for the sleeve proceedure.

Well, Congrats! You'll do great and but good luck anyway! I saving for the self pay service and seems like Mexico is my best chance if not my only chance? But thats not necessarily a bad thing. I least I have a chance at it.

 i had mines there too as st luke's woodlands... since we kept it short and ws billed as observation it came to be 10,000 + 1400 for something.. anyway it would have been like 20,000 if i had been inpatient . not a bad deal at all

 i am very excited for you. just do what hey tell u to do and you are gonna be fine. stay positive. i wish you the best. 

Thanks.  I talked with Jan when I went in for my pre-registration and we discussed you.  She is very excited for you and says she has no doubt you will continue to do well as you were eager to do everything that was requested of you while you were in the hospital.  I won't be as lucky as you by having her there to assist with things b/c she has a conference to attend next week.
