That's a lot of exercise that early out. No way I could have done that. I didn't start in heavy like until week 6. My guess is you're retaining water in order to mend your muscles!

I'd try bumping your water up and see if you can't flu**** out of yoru system. But if you are doing right, then I would (try) except that this is how your body loses and know you are doing it right. Not sure I could follow that wisdom though! Heck I'm worried and it hasn't even happened.
