Ball game food?
Last time I was at Fenway I had just been transitioned onto soft foods. I didn't eat anything, just sipped water the whole time, wasn't really hungry.
Tomorrow I will be cleared to eat non-soft foods, and I'm going to a game again on Friday. I've also started to get some hunger back; it's definitely not as bad as before but it is there.
I don't really think there's anything there that would be OK in my plan. The sausage would probably be what I would really want (of course without the bun), but I can't imagine how fatty and high calorie it is.
So, I guess my question is, should I commit to just drinking tons of water and not eating anything like I did last time? Would I be setting myself up for failure? Should I try and fit a couple bites of sausage into my plan? Anything else I may be able to eat there that would be on plan? Thanks OH
P.S. Yeah, I know it's a terrible time to be a Sox fan. Gotta take the bad with the good though

I just found an article online , maybe it can offer some info.
Fenway Franks may still be the hot dog of choice, but Red Sox fans will now have plenty more options thanks to an initiative launched by Fenway Park. The Taste of Fenway concession stand on Yawkey Way by Gate D will now feature a unique raw bar with fresh shellfish sold by the piece, including clams on the half shell, shucked oysters and shrimp. Cooked seafood will also be available at the stand with favorites such as lobster rolls, crab cake sandwiches, fish and chips, fried clams and New England clam chowder. Cooked seafood items like the fried clams and fish and chips are freshly battered and cooked to order. At three deli stands throughout the ballpark, fans can order an Italian beef sandwich with mozzarella topped with au jus gravy and served on a French baguette. "We are continually looking for ways to improve the fan experience at Fenway Park and the second half of the season has always been a good time to roll out new offerings and fan-friendly options," said Red Sox executive vice president Sam Kennedy. And those looking for a lighter choice? Fans will soon find an expanded menu of healthy selections such as fresh cut fruits including watermelon and other seasonal melon, yogurts, jello, salads and wraps at various concession stands throughout the park.

If what he posted is right I'd be hitting up the shrimp! At the Nats Stadium we have a pretty good chili place and a small cup, of which I can eat half, is only 350 calories, so that's my go to meal while there.

My husband used to work the concessions there as a teenager. He's from Sommerville.

Yep, my husband grew up in the projects there. Joined the Army straight out of high school though. He would have graduated class of '96.

Small world! I got my ass kicked in the projects once! I grew up on Fellsway west down the street from there...right in front of Foss Park. I (Mike Burns)graduated in '90...my wifes sister (Bernice DeVita) was class of 95. Pat Atwell was class of 94 and grew up in the projects too...
