Wow that is a great resource. I think when I am further post op I will definitely be utilizing that site, bookmarked it! I think the other posters had a good idea about bringing some options with me, that way I won't be stuck hungry and end up eating something I haven't tried before that my sleeve may not agree with. If I was further out, I would definitely do some shrimp.
I'm not going to eat any sausage. Wait, let me say that one more time for myself, I'm not going to eat any sausage!! Thanks, Rob!!

If I were you, I'd eat at home before the game. It's not as fun, but 1.) it's cheaper and 2.) you'll still be full and won't be tempted by other unhealthier options on the menu.

Like another poster said, take a baggie with turkey pepperoni or jerky or 1/4 oz of pork skins to snack on in case you DO get hungry. Most of all, just have fun at the game!

Starting: 284. Op Day: 264. Current: 185.80. Goal: 180.
Main goal: To be able to take the "morbidly" out.

Thank you! I'll definitely have fun, it's fun to go to a game even when they lose.
I'll be going straight to the game from work, so I won't be able to eat at home, but I'm definitely going to bring stuff with me!!

Brining your own food is great, if they allow outside food.  I recently went too a ball game (minor league) and you cannot bring in outside food or water.  I ended up getting the grilled chicken sandwhich and just ate the chicken.

They don't allow outside food, but they don't check all that thoroughly either. I'll probably just ask my husband to wear his cargo pants and put some items in the pockets. Water I will have to buy, but that's OK. Absurdly expensive, but on plan

I'm with the bring your own food people. I even bring my own snack to the movie. Just put it in your purse, shouldn't be a problem. I have a movie purse. lol. It used to hold chipotle burritos, now it holds a cheese stick and a drink.

Lol, a movie purse, I like that. They do bag checks, but they're not all that thorough. I'll probably just put the items either toward the bottom of my purse or in my husband's pockets

Just a thought, if you get a letter of medical necessity from your doctor, you will be allowed to bring food it anywhere you want to bring it,  You will even be allowed to bring a cooler.  This works well even much later in the weight loss phase and even in maintenance.  I still bring my own food whenever I am not sure I will be happy with my options or just because it's cheaper and my husband is a better cook than most chefs.  :)

I'm going to a Cardinal game on the 30th and it's my first day of clear liquids before my surgery on July 2nd.  Looks like I'll be taking water and jello!
