13 weeks n 6 days later....
Thx girl for sharing; I need all the encouragement I can get. Sometimes I feel I need to slap myself out of the nervous mode. I had it so bad a couple of weeks ago b/f my support group session until I was sick; I almost changed my mind like I did a year ago but w/h much prayer and thought and hating how I look in my clothes I decided to go ahead with it. I initially was going to do the gastric bypass and that is what made me changed my mind and when my insurance began to approve for the sleeve I rethought the decision. It was an informed decision; I am still learning and hope for the best.
Well you sound like your on the right path,I was suppose to have surgery in 09 and back out because i thought i could do it on my own and ended up gaining even more weight....I've always love my curves never want to be skinny i just want them to be smaller.It took a while for me to truly love me and appreciate me and my curve but i do.I just wanted to get my weight under control before i started to get sick...The only health issue i had was high blood pressure and now thats under control...Dont worry youll be fine.

Sleeve sister!!!! You're doing absolutely amazing! I bet seeing that 399 on the scale was amazing for you! So proud of you!! Have you gone shopping yet? You really need to! Just buy like one new pair of jeans and a shirt :] I always reward myself with shopping now instead of food. So great!
Ugh my hair hair is falling out left and right over here! It's horrible, but I know it will grow back. You're lucky yours is still staying in. I hope it never starts to come out.

Thank you Christa,It was an amazing feeling to see 399 especially since i have not seen 3something since i was about 17 and that was ten years ago so i'm feeling awesome.I know everyone keeps telling me that i need to at least buy one pair of pants just to try it but for some reason i'm scared...lol,I will say this that i tried on a pair of my mom's capris yesterday size 26 and they came all the way up still a little tight but they fit.
