How many people have found the new you that comes with the new lifestyle of being a VSGer only to find you really weren't happy in your marriage or your spouse didn't like the new you?

Search through old posts here and I think you'll find it happens a fair amount. There are lots of possible reasons--it is enough of a recognized phenomenon that many surgeons will warn you about it. Many say it makes a strong marriage even stronger and stresses an already weak marriage.

Also an outstanding reason for WLS. Your soul mate is just around the corner! You are too good of a guy to be alone for long.

That was one thing a surgeon I spoke with a few years back had warned me about and I was wondering how true it held. I'm only 2 weeks post-op so no problems so far (knock on wood)
