My hubby is a gym rat. He also prefers meaty women. One of our conversations when I was looking into this was about not becoming stick thin& that was never my goal, I want to be healthy, my goal is NOT a number it is a feeling.

He is very supportive and our relationship is as strong as ever.

Any partnership takes 2.
DH has been my #1 support for 34 years now. I guess it is doable if your partner enhances/complements you. I don't think luck has anything to do with it tho.
Its like my weight loss post VSG to me. I took a vow..of committment ..gettin my stomach cut off..like vow to my marraige....to do what I can do...to make it work...in good times and bad times......and see it thru till death do we part. I am ever expressive of my gratitude to my commitments: VSG and DH for his support ...even through his insecurities w/ my rapid weight loss n return to my old sexy self.

I like what Michael J Fox says about his successful marriage...

KEEP THE FIGHTING CLEAN......and.....THE SEX DIRTY

I have been lucky because 10 years ago I lost 130lbs thur supervised weight loss program and we did not have a probably then and we are celebrating 27years of marriage on the 28th of this month and life couldn't be better. I think if your marriage is shaky to begin with, there is a big chance it won't survive.

A good relationship only gets better. A bad one gets worse. I think if you have a very strong relationship going into this, it's not going to change.

Been married for 19 years, he's not obese, I've always been obese. Everything is better now... sex, outdoor activities, vacations, playing with the kids... did I mention sex?
