Irrational Fears?

I'm wondering do any of you have any irrational fears about your weight loss?

Even though I am loosing I have this dumb fear that I won't. I know it's dumb because I see the scale moving. Maybe its because of all the past failures of trying and going up and down the scale.

Just wondering if I am alone in my head.

i did right before and after i had surgery... thought i'd never lose 20 pounds let alone the 85 i have... now i worry that i will never lose the 15-25 i want to lose.

so, no, you are not alone in this thinking.

Carolyn , I think you're correct.  Each of us have had failures by the dozen.  We took this drastic step to save our lives.  I say kiss off the fear ....  Respect the honest work of success by doing the right thing for you and your sleeve!  Here's to your continued success!

i think we are so used to stressing about the weight, no matter what, its like some bad habit. i worried i would never lose the weight. but i did. now that im in maintenance i freak if the scale goes up, even when i know im trying to put on muscle...ugh the cycle of worry!!!!!

you will be ok, try and focus on the positive aspects and less on numbers. easier said than done. though

I do!  My surgeon told me I was doing great, but nobody ever comments on it when they see me. He actually had a body suit type thing and had me hold it...it was 27 pounds. It was heavy!  And I've lost more than two of those!  I know the scale doesn't lie, but I would like some compliments!
