Bit the bullet... but in a good way
Congratulations on taking an important first step. Suggestions have been good. I would like to encourage you to add weight training to your exercise regime. It will help you to retain more lean muscle during your weight loss, which will ultimately keep your metabolism humming along. Lean muscle mass burn more calories at rest, which helps to keep your metabolic rate higher. So many people just do cardio and it isn't enough for long term weight loss and maintenance. Weight training was the best decision that I ever made, and is responsible for my increased muscle tone and maintenance of weight loss.
