can WLS'ers get hair sewn in? Not a wig fan

 I already use clip in real human hair extensions so i will probably stick to those post-op. Maybe you can try those?

Getting hair sewn in actually rips out hair so it might be more damaging if you do that.

 I have had a sew in since surgery and I worked fine for me. Just be careful not to braid too tight because too much stress will cause your hair to shed even more. I also have tried the glue with the protectant and it works has helped my hair grow. Just have to google different things online.

Thank you all so much for your input. Someone wanted to know my ethnicity to better answer my question. I'm a dirty blonde caucasian with medium hair thickeness, not too fine (pre op anyway!) and not too thick.

I'm going to look into all the stuff you guys mentioned. I just cannot stand my scalp showing through! Right now it's just a little at the crown and my part but if it doesn't let up soon I'm just going to be a wreck!

Still don't regret the surgery and I signed up KNOWING this could happen so no surprises except for how much it bothers me. Keep any suggestions coming! I take all my vits, get my protein in, and take biotin as well. I am 5 months post op and it started falling out pretty bad at the beginning of my fourth month. If it stops in the next couple weeks I'll be okay but I'm not holding my breath!

 hi your could go with a human hair intergration piece this is a piece that clips on top of hair and then some of your hair is pulled through to make it more natural
