I second the Bento Box- LOVE LOVE LOVE mine!  I would also add a pretty journal to record your journey.  I also found divided child size dinner plates and tableware to be very useful.  2ounces of chicken looks pretty big on a kiddie plate and it takes some time to eat small bites while using a small fork! My 2 year old loved the idea that we were "having a party" at mealtime because I was using her stuff :)

I bought one of those plastic canisters for powdered baby formula, to carry protein powder. They have flip tops & I can put 3 servings in it, very handy.

The only thing I ever used out of all of those things was a scale, measuring cups and measuring tapes. Also, small 2-4oz tupperware containers. Everything else I bought was a waste.
