Tummy Tuck

I thought about getting a tummy tuck, as I've had two kids, and now losing this weight doesn't help the stomach area, but I just don't want that HUGE scar going from hip to hip.  I had breast augmentation in 1999 and I still hate those scars.  I just wish they could do it and get rid of the scar.  I hate my stretch marks, but don't know if I could trade them for that huge scar.

I don't know what scar care products were out in 1999 but today there are a boatload of products on the market.  What I learned from my plastic surgeon is that massage is what makes the most difference.  I massage all of my incision lines at least 2x a day with Gene's Vitamin E cream.  At 7 months they are already starting to face in many places.  I expect that in a year they will be terrific.  So well worth it in my book.  Wearing a bikini at 61 is pure delight.

I have used Mederma in the past, and it seemed to work pretty good, it's just kinda expensive.  But wow - sounds like you know what works!  That is awesome!  Thanks for the advice, and I might have to rethink the Tummy Tuck idea.
