Ricotta Bake w/ any meat?

Does anyone add meat (lean ground beef or ground turkey) to their Ricotta Bake? I was just wondering because I haven't seen a recipe out there that included any meat. If you have a recipe with any meat, please share.

Thanks!

I made them ground beef.

Brown the meat. Add it to the ricotta cheese mix, pop them in muffin tins, cover in sauce, top with more cheese, bake.

I saw one online where they put pepperoni or turkey pepperoni in the bottom of the muffin tins and then added the rest of the mix.  I haven't made it that way but was thinking of trying it with the turkey pepperoni.

I'm sure you could. Those are great as-written by eggface for the soft foods stage (or maybe mushies, I can't remember) but yeah, you can change up any recipe the way you want

I have seen many references to the rocotta bake. Is there a basic recipe for it that someone can share. Getting my sleve 8/15 and will be looking for recipes when that time comes. I don't like cottege cheese but love ricotta.

Thanks!

I don't put mine in a muffin tin..I layer it like Lasgna. Add the beef directly to the mix then layer it with ricotta, sauce, cheese..repeat.

Just made some tonight. I call it noodleless lasagna when I do. I put down mozz, a layer of cheese mix, a layer of beef mixed with sauce, make a second layer the same and add mozz on top. I broil it the last few minutes.  I too use a caserol dish, cool and cut into portions.  Some I fridg and some I freeze (not as good).
