Ask me what I've learned lately and this is what I'll tell you.
Louisa -- sounds like you pulled yourself right out of that fire -- wow! the thing of eating before being around not-so-healthy food is key (even WW recommends it!).
as for the rest of you guys -- i wish i had the same experience of comfort from the plan. it may just be the fact that i don't really have much of a plan and have lost anyyway, and am incredibly lazy and totally terrified that if i kept track of things i would see what a FRAUD i am! my partner just went back to WW, and it's famers' market season, so dinner's looking up. the funny thing is that i tracked on dailyplate for like 2 years when i was just rying to lose. and eating crap. and NOW i'm too scared to do it.
gotta get out of this place!!!!!!
good luck with the construction chaos!! that would drive me nuts!

First I want to say good for you for coming clean! No matter how you face the truth - whether it's "confessing on OH" or logging your food to make yourself accountable - facing the truth of our actions is a huge accomplishment!
We all got to obese by eating those tempting, not so good for us or down right crap foods, and then rationalizing away. That you are aware of what you are doing and willing to take control of the situation rather than sit back and ride it out and say, "Well, when I get back home I can start back in on my 'diet'" is really showing how much you've already changed.
I can't imagine that there isn't anyone out there that hasn't experienced a blip or two during WL - whether during a diet prior to VSG or during post op WL. This journey is about learning and it seems to me you've done an awful lot of learning due to this experience.
You take the bull by the horns now and rock that sleeve!
