Background: I had a hysterectomy a few years ago so when I had the sleeve WLS done, my surgeon went in and used one of the same scars from the hyster. surgery to go in for the sleeve surgery.  Healed well, have one less scar (actually two because I didn't need the liver resection so I really only have 3 new scars from the sleeve).  Everything's been GREAT!

....Till a couple days ago.  I'm almost 6 months post op and when I sneeze that one scar  hurts like a MOTHER!  Like BAD.  If I hold and press really firmly on that area and sneeze it barely hurts...

Could this be a hernia?  If not, what else could it be?  I will call my Dr in the a.m. but wondered what ya'll thought.  I've had absolutely no pain or issues with my sleeve or any of the incision sites all this time until 2 days ago.

Thoughts? GO!

Good idea to call the doctor.  If it is a hernia, then they need to fix that before your insides get trapped in there and die.  So, take care of this.. Don't wait to call.

You can't take care of them, if you don't take care of you!!

Did you have your surgery laparoscopicly or open? It sounds as though you had it open. If that is the case then  you certainly have a good chance of a hernia. See your doctor.
