Has anyone gotten a tattoo to mark their VSG?

I want one but Im not really sure what I want. I was thinking maybe the date of my surgery, or the date with a quote under it.

I am TERRIFIED of the idea of a tattoo, but I've been playing around with the idea, after plastics... having them NOT make a belly button and instead of a tattoo'd one put there in some sort of fancy script with my surgery date around it... not sure how/what/when but I have plenty of time on that

I started a huge piece on my chest shortly after i started my nut appts... it represents adaptation to whatever comes my as well as protection from outside toxcins/influences, and to live for me! Theres pics of the progress of it on my pro if ur interested.

Just a thought but ive been thinking that a koi dragon would be a great representation for the transformation we've gone/goin thru... japanese folklore says that the koi fish swims up a waterfall (a life challenge) and if it manages to make it it transforms into a dragon. Thus allowing it to move forward or start anew.... the koi fish represents strength of will and the dragon ferocity.

I love the idea of the koi dragon representing constantly pushing forward to bigger and better things!

A lot of koi dragon tats that you see arent very pretty but if you do your research on dif artists and find one that you like their style, they will be more than happy to draw you a custom piece making it look feminine or whatever you are looking for.

My 2 biggest pieces of advice when getting a tattoo- dont limit the artist with too many "i want this, and this, with this, this big, in this color" give them your idea and let them do their job you can certainly make adjustments after you see their sketch... but you will get a much nicer piece if its their vision, they will enjoy doing it more and typicaly it will turn out better than you could have imagined! Advice 2.... dont skimp on the size im sure you wont want it to be a full back piece but if you go with a decent size you will get much better detail...... ok 2 more thoughts... before you decide on a shop, use the restroom first... if its gross turn tail and run! And i was once read a cheap tattoo is never good and a good tattoo is never cheap!

I could talk ink alllll day long! Any question**** me up!!!

And good luck i would love to see pics even if i dont choose a koi dragon lol that has just been on my mind lately
