So i have my date scheduled for November 19th. The surgeon had earlier dates but I scheduled it for the end of November because I thought it would be easier for my husband to be able to help with my 1 year old daughter. He works in construction and it is slower during the winter. Now reading all these posts, I am wondering if I should do it earlier. So torn. Very tempted to call the doctor's office to see if I can move it up.

Isabelle my future sleeve sister!  :-)  Guess what great minds think a like!   I literally just changed my tenative date to Oct 1st and now I'm OH and see your post. lol  I was thinking the exact same thing.  I'm tired of waiting it's making me too anixious.  And the aniexty is causing me to eat more. LOL!  (Plus I think I'm going to have female issues on the tenative date I put, who knows the liquid diet might through that off. lol)  Bumping the date all depends on the results of the endoscopy.   Also Dr B is going to check my oxgen levels during the endoscopy to see how my oxgen levels are whether or not I would need a sleep study depending on my oxgen levels when I'm under.   Do you know if you have to have a sleep study yet?   So my new tenative date is October 1 provided that I pass the endoscopy and don't need a sleep study.  I think Dr B still has more some available dates in the begining weeks of October before he goes on vacation mid to end of October..... Let me know what you end up doing.  We maybe even able to be sleeved on the same day cause I think he can do two VSG in one day.  :-)

I ended up calling Toni. She scheduled me for 10/15.  She said that was his fist available. He never mentioned that I needed a sleep study. So I am hoping to not have one. The cardiologist cleared me yesterday. I ended up having to have a echocardiogram. So I was worried that would mess me up. Thankfully it didn't. My endoscopy is this Friday. I didn't even thought to look at my cycle. That would be a good idea.

My cycle changes so much I probably will change the date 10 times.  lol   There's no way I want my cycle and surgery on the same day.  Right now it's averaging about every 25 days but that could change.  So it would have fallen near my first tenative date.
So glad you passed the echo. I didn't really care for that test.  I actually thought at times it was painful.  I was told I didn't have to see a cardiologist if I passed the echo but my primary care doctor has to write a letter saying that I guess cause of liablity issues.
Yeah Dr B might not have mentioned the sleep study if you don't snore.  It was a debate with me cause I do snore but it's not constant.  And I have no other symtoms of sleep apena like high blood pressue or heart disease.  I think he is less strict on the sleep study when you are self pay.  Many insurance companies require it for surgery.  But be at ease if we do need one he will realize when we have the endoscopies because he checks our oxgen levels than.  If it's not normal he would than defintiely require a sleep study for our own safety.
Oh do you know about  www.accordingtoeggface.com   This website is awesme.  It's a girl named Shelly that had bariatric surgery and she loves to cook.   She blogs a ton of protein recipes that are WLS friendly.  I don't even like to cook but it gives a lot of good ideas.  You can even make protein ice cream (sugar free)!  That's what I like cause I can't do without my ice cream.  lol :-)
