Endoscopy = Gastritis.... ???????

Please tell me does gastritis prolong surgery date?

Does it mean I can't have the sleeve?

It won't stop you from being sleeved, but it may delay the surgery until it clears up.  Gastritis means the lining of your stomach is inflamed, and you really don't want to start your sleeved life with an inflamed tummy. 

I am not a vet but I did have the same problem. I got a scrip for medication that should help. Did you get a perscription?

Terri is right, you need to get a scrip to cut the inflammation down.  It probably will delay your surgery date but the recovery will be much more pleasant.

I never knew it was inflammed... Never had any symptoms!

I did get meds to start taking today. UGH another medication!

I'm trying to decrease my meds intake not increase SIGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
