Vomiting during Bm?

straining to poo puts pressure on the vagal nerve which causes you to vomit. Pressure on the vagal nerve like this can also cause some people to faint of have a seizure.
I would seriously disregard the NUT"S advice and take my Miralax ev ery night!
Why ask for trouble? It is likely impossivle for you to get enough fiber from food with a sleeve especially if you are focusing on protein first, which you should be.

Thank you for sharing this! I have been home only 3 days. I just had my 2nd bm and almost vomited. Now I'm nauseaous and praying. This is scary. I feel like crying. Vomiting is like your stomach landing on a grenade. Did you do this from the very beginning?

I have had that same problem except I don't take Miralx, never have. It seems the less constipated I am the more I vomit. I don't usually take anything for my constipation until its been about 2 weeks. The Dr. told me that not having a BM for a week is normal. My Dr. also told me that he hasn't had any sleeve pt with that problem. Glad I'm not the only one. On August 30 it will be one year since my surgery I have lost 124 pounds and I am past my goal weight by 3 pounds.

That sucks... once you start to eat more stuff fibrous you shouldn't need miralax (hopefully) salad and stuff of the like makes me go like no ones business, and to duraine you should not be going more than three days without a bowel movement , you really dont want the waste to sit in your body for that long
