Let me start off by saying I know everyone heals differently & it varies from person to person but.....

When did you start feeling "better", "more like yourself", "normal", "have energy", etc ???

Thanks :)

A week after, but then it dipped. Once you can get enough protein in, and I highly recommend sublingual B12/Folic Acid, it went back up. And working out helps keep that energy up as well.

I felt a big improvement after 5 days post op but I was still pretty tired. By the time I went back to work 2 weeks later, I felt decent but still not 100% but well enough to do my job. I would say somewhere between weeks 3 & 4 I felt like myself again.

I was out of work for 4 weeks and by the time I went back I felt great and was full of energy.  But the whole time I was home recuperating each day I felt better and did a little more...increased my walking and movement, but listened to my body when it told me to stop or rest.  That is SO IMPORTANT!!!!  Normal - what is that????  I don't think I 've ever been "normal" in my entire life!  You just have to see how you feel each day and listen to what your body tells you to do.

LOL thats exactly why I put the word normal in "quotes" because I don't think any of us are normal LOL.

Thx :)
