Had a major thrill when my family wanted to go to our local Red Lobster today. We were relatively frequent customers there before my pre-op diet as I love seafood.
I slid into a booth effortlessly! I even had a few inches to spare! Used to, if we got a booth, my boobs were practically on the table.
I ate healthy though. Just had a shrimp ****tail and a little salad while I watched my family eat fried seafood, baked potatoes loaded with fat, and biscuits. That was kind of odd to watch too, as that would have been me a few months ago. I was kind of disturbed by what they were eating. Thankfully, they're both thin and that was a rare binge for them, but I would have eaten like that daily if I could before surgery.
Food rehab is a mysterious journey.

I know I love the not feeling worried that I am not going to fit into the booth. What a victory and I can't wait to fly again. Last time I flew I just get the seat belt done up that was 40 lbs ago and I won't be flying for another three months, wow I can't wait to see/feel the difference.
Congratulations!!!! Way to Go!!!!!

The feeling of getting in a booth effortlessly for the first time after WLS is amazing. I remember having a big smile on my face and the hostess had no clue as to why. Keep rocking your sleeve.
