Hospital

Well...just got out of the hospital. I had a bad pneumonia and was septic. With all the fluids they give me, I gained 32 pounds ! I am about to cry....I was so proud of the weight I had lost. Now surgery is now put off till further notice and I have to start the pre-op diet once again when I get a new date. Been a sad sad week.

P.S.  How does one change a surgery date ? thanks

Hi Missey, I'm sorry your surgery was pushed back. Just remember that they are looking out for your best interest. Hopefully your surgeon will reschedule soon! Best of luck to you! You will have so much to look forward to.....most importantly, you will have a new life!

I'm so sorry to hear that you have been so ill.  I can imagine your disappointment (to put it mildly) at having your surgery postponed.  Don't sweat the 32 lbs.  You know it's fluid and will go away rather quickly.  Concentrate on getting yourself well.  You want to be in the very best of health before surgery.  
Good luck with getting a new surgery date soon.  Being that your date was postponed, perhaps your surgeon will give you top priority when scheduling a new date and it won't be too far away.
