VSG through belly button?

I had the single incision and everything went great.  Recovery was fine with no problems.  I really can't tell it by looking at my belly button.  If I look closely, I can see some differences prior but nothing major.

I had the single incision...my surgeon's first :) recovery was quick, virtually painless
He also did a hernia repair and removed my gallbladder through my belly button incision. He freakin rocks!! You can not even see the scar, unless you look really close for it. He is so proud, he makes me walk around the whole center so he can show off his handy work lol

I saw a video on this a while back and wondered why it wasn't done more. 
I thought made it didn't work out.  Glad to hear it is still being done so it
must just not be catching on yet.  Maybe centers don't want to buy this equipment and still have to have the other for the heavy weights.
I would think getting my band out for sure could be done this way if they
did have the equipment.
