2 month surgiversary= Mixed feelings so far

I was sleeved 2 months ago today. The surgery recovery itself was easier than I expected, but the fatigue afterwards was more than I expected. I was at least a month out before I regained most of my energy.  Now I am feeling pretty good energy wise. I am having issues with low blood pressure, and do feel faint if I bend over or stand up quickly. I think that will be my new normal.
My GERD, which I 've had for years,  is definitely worse. I am taking a PPI twice a day but it doesn't seem to be quite under control. I have been doing some reading and now I am sure I have Silent GERD. I need to call my doctor and figure out what the next step is. I am hungry like every 2 hours, and I think it is partly the GERD.
I am still getting to know my sleeve. It still feels like a stranger to me- I haven't even named it yet. Maybe that would help! Luckily I haven't had nausea or vomiting.  I am still figuring out how much to eat. I am tracking everything and staying within the guidelines for carbs and protein. But I have been a really, really slow loser so far and I need to reevalute what is going on and what to do now.
I lost about 20 pounds the first two weeks after surgery (I lost 37 pounds preop) and in the last 6 weeks I have lost 6 pounds. Only about 3 days in the six weeks have I shown a loss, the rest has been the same or even up a little bit. It is discouraging to be losing so slowly while eating so little. Inches have been coming off and I am down a couple of sizes. People are really noticing. But when the weight loss stalls for weeks on end I wonder what I am doing wrong and I am not sure.
I do have confidence that I will figure it out and keep losing. But I would be thrilled to pick up the pace! I do plan to start seriously exercising now that my basement remodel into a gym is done (that's a whole saga in itself) and maybe that will be the jumpstart I need.
I have been on this forum every day without fail and the support and information have been so wonderful. I so appreciate all of the people who take the time to help others. Thanks! Karen

You're having some challenges, but you're losing and that is what this is all about.  Everyone says just stay on program & it will happen.  I'm a slower loser too; almost 3 months out from VSG & down 48 lbs since surgery.  I know how easy it is to get discouraged when you're comparing yourself to others.  I do it more than I should.  I really expected to be much thinner by now.  I've been trying to up my exercise to see if that helps.  I know we will do great at our own pace if we stay with our programs.  Thanks for posting and keep us updated!  I , too, need all the encouragement I can get from this forum.

Neither of you are slow... just not as fast as some of these super losers around here. LOL (My profile has my weekly and monthly numbers at the very bottom BUT remember, I started out at 375, and you cannot really compare yourself).

I would make sure you're measuring/weighing everything you eat and logging it into MyFitnessPal or something like that. Even the sauces. Then take another good hard look. Likely you are fine, but you might find where you can tighten up a bit.
