Muscle relaxers?
I went out and got some ibuprofen so hopefully I will find some relief with it. I talked to the pharmacist that recommended the muscle relaxers that I was taking already. I just have to wait it out, if I recall sometimes it takes two weeks to feel better.
I just don't like how I am retaining water and today I forgot my back pills while at work and had to take codeine, whoa first time ever getting loopy off of them. My poor belly, I tried to eat everytime before I took any medication but my stomach is starting to feel like I am abusing it.

I feel for you. I had an extruded sequestered disc a few years back (broken off and lodged against a nerve). Had surgery for that and did well for awhile, but having problems with disc degeneration. Been taking diclofenac, but it's tearing up my stomach, so I quit taking it. Don't want to have WLS with stomach problems! I'll tell you though, I hurt everywhere-mornings are the worst! About 80% of the reason I've decided to pursue WLS. Beginning to think I have arthritis. Runs in the family. Flexeril is awesome, but makes you loopy. My doc gave me methocarbamol muscle relaxer, and I think it's helping a little, and I don't seem to get loopy on it. Something you could ask your doc about.
Yes, if I don't notice any improvement after 3 days of rest this weekend I will be heading back in to see my doctor.
I forgot to pick up something to make the bowels work too hmmm hope this is not going to be an issue. I plan to eat some leafy greens tomorrow they always tend to get things up and running again.
