alot of surgeons I hear do it with the procedure now if you have not had WLS you might ask about them doing it at the same time.

If you have had surgery I would check around and see how much,  there is care credit that will let you make payments .,  your health always comes first.  ....

I have had my GB out and the few weeks before were total Hell... with a double H !!! once done the recover was super easy

A variety of hospitals offer hcap or charity care.
They are based upon income. What you make defines your costs.

However, I have not ever seen an anesthesiologist give a discount.

There's usually a hospital somewhere that takes uninsured/low-income and works out a plan. Is there an insurance available in your state for low-income/uninsured? Not that you're low-income just because you don't have insurance! I do contract work and don't...husband's covered me and now we've lost that insurance because husband is contract again, too.

Texas and other states have a pre existing health insurance plan that will cover anything pre existing you have. You have to pay a monthly premium like normal insurance and take care of your deductable first before they pay anything but it might save you some money. The deductables range from 1000-2000. This is going to pay for my VSG in 7-8 months.
