8 months??? 12 months??
I a m a little over 8 months out and I eat 800-900 calories a day some days it is more and some less but at 6 months my dr told me I should wat 1000 calories and I was shocked. I was also not able to do that at that time. I shoot for low carb and high protein every day.
I must say it is harder lately as I seem to be more hungry than i was even a month ago and also can eat more but try to stay on plan.

I ate under 800 right up to goal at 9 months, then gradually bumped it up.
I have a very small sleeve and can't eat more than about 2 oz of any dense food, maybe 4 oz of something like yogurt or similar soft food. I therefore eat more often, choose higher calorie foods (healthy fats like nut butters) and use protein shakes to get my calories.

Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22
175+ lbs lost, maintaining since February 2012

B: carbmaster yogurt with soy nutlettes
S: rtd shake pure protein
L: 2 ounces chicken, spinach salad with bleu cheese, a bit of cottage cheese and mango
D: wendys small chili with crackers
S: fiber one cereal with fat free milk half cup of each
This is a VERY light day for me clocking at 814 cals and 94 protein. I normally am up around 1200 cals, but school started with students today and I am adjusting to the new schedue. 1200 is not my maintence level yet... I hit goal but will be working on slowly dropping a few more pounds. I have not been exercising like normal for a few weeks now, but hope to be able to be more regular if I can just get the body to cooperate.
