I'm sleeved!

 I am 12 hours postoperative  and am feeling pretty good. I have walked 
 twice and am getting ready to go for the third time. I have trapped air from surgery and walking seems to help. I have had some ice chips and a part of a Popsicle and now a raspberry icee. I thank everyone for the prayers and well wishes last nice with my nerves. I can't wait to get my leak test in the morni g and my surgeon said if all is well, then I can go home tomorrow afternoon. I am so excited. Thanks again.

Congrats on your surgery!! Im am just 4 days out post op from my gastric sleeve so I can relate.The worst part was the gas pain but like you said walking around makes all the difference in the world. I got alot of gas off today and I feel like a new person!! Good luck and congrats again!!

 Wow - congrats.  My surgeon says nothing by mouth til after my leak test 24 hrs after surgery - I bet you are glad that yours doesn't require that.  That is the part I dread most - I just know I will have cotton mouth.  Keep up the good work and keep us posted.

 The leak test is simple.  It's just a few mouths-full of liquid and an x-ray.  It didn't even taste bad!
