Good for you! And let me just say my man's Italian. I understand how hard it must be if you were a traditional Italian food eater pre-op. Turning down his canolli, steak piziola, linguini and alfredo...it's been tough. Holler at you girl!!! You're awesome Italian Princess 

Thank you Summer!  It wasn't too bad at first about the Italian food.  I've always cooked just about everything Italian style.  Then I got this craving for pizza about a month out...........i lusted after it.......so much so that I almost had a small piece of it when I made it for the husband.  But I decided I didn't need the crust, so I found a way to get all the flavors of pizza by putting it a cup LOL  I even posted my "recipe" on MFP call Ree's Pizza in a Cup...........whenever I get all wonky about needing pizza, I make it and it takes care of the craving.  Since then, I've found ways to have Italian food flavors.  I miss eating my home made Italian bread.though........maybe once I reach goal, I'll have a half slice now and then.

You're doing really well yourself.............keep workin' your sleeve!

I hope you don't let today's situation get to you.  Sometimes things aren't said as kindly as they might be and then feelings are hurt and feathers get ruffled.  Go ahead and ask questions all you want.  The search function is good for a lot of things, but sometimes we just want personal experience to help us see if we are "normal" and that can get a little dicey with some.
