Proud of you girl. Keep up the great work! I hope I can follow your example when I have my surgery. Thanks for being here and being a good role model. We are so fortunate to have great sleeve friends aren't we?

Hi Mimi............thank you for your kind words...........having support is so important.

Yes, OH and MFP are truly the best............you'll find lots of folks reaching out to be helpful any way they can.  If you are planning on using a tracker, MyFitnessPal is great...........lots of OH people there.  I'm Justme72847 there if you want to friend me.

Your surgery is coming soon........next Wednesday will be here before you know it and then you be on the "sip, walk, rest, repeat" cycle.  I wish you an easy recovery and a successful journey.  You're already losing weight, so that should bode well for you.   Good luck!

Thank you Pollyanna..........I keep trying LOL

When is your surgery?  I love your name -- people tell me all the time that I'm a "Pollyanna" because I try to find silver linings in everything..........and I'm much too hopeful sometimes.  But better to smile and be upbeat than be a cranky old lady (my big fear LOL)

Thanks so much Christina.  You know, I went into this for my comorbs and said weight loss would be a wonderful bonus...............and now that I see such improvement, I'm right there with everyone else being a scale nutcase LOL  Right now, I'm content...don't expect me to MOOOO yet though LOL

You will melt too -- when is your surgery planned?  Keep us posted on that!

Hi, My surgery is Oct 4th, so 6 days and counting! I know my comorbidities are a huge motivator, type 2, asthma...BUT I totally just want to be a skinny----* like Acbbrown says :)
Its been 20 long years since I fell into that category, and this time, if I can make that happen, I am going to appreciate every minute of it!

LOL  Well, I've never been a skinny ____!  I've been round all my life -- all 65 years of it!  I did this surgery as a way to help my comorbs and felt the weight loss would be a great bonus.  Now that I've seen improvement in my comorbs, I'm a scale junkie just like everyone else!

I'll keep good thoughts for you for next Thursday........I kind of fond of Thursdays since that is the day of my surgery -- 14 weeks before yours!  I wish you the kind of recovery I had -- mostly easy, quick, and not much of a PITA!

We can be melting sisters :-)   Best of good luck to you
