I'm 2 weeks out tomorrow. The incision on my right side was originally bruised, now that it's cleared up, a new bruise formed around it and it feels like there's a rubber bouncy ball behind it. like a cartilage feeling. it was hurting a lot yesterday, today it's not as bad but is sore. I did call the dr and they want me to come in. anyone else have something like this? I know they said my left side might have weirdness because thats there most of the 'work' was done, but my rights giving me a hard time. even as i type it almost has a burning sensation? thanks for advice!

It's probably just normal healing, but it's sensible to have it checked. I wouldn't be worrying, though, unless it was pink/red, warm/hot and/or oozing yucky stuff.
I had one incision that felt like yours and when I got up my nerve and pressed firmly on it a bunch of plasma drained out. Nothing serious at all, just a bubble of fluids that my body would have absorbed over time if I hadn't got impatient.

It could be a post-op hematoma which is a little collection of blood under the skin. I had this and actually on of my stiches popped and it started bleeding quite a bit. I went in to the ER per my surgeon and everything was fine, no biggie. I also had quite a bit of itching there too (which is how a popped the stitch!)
Your body will eventually just absorb it and it will go away.
