Six months later... [everybody is different, folks]
I've been 25 lbs from goal since just after a year out. And, I'm thrilled about that! Starting at over 300 lbs, I certainly expected to be one of those who was losing 20-30lbs a month. Never happened. I averaged 13lbs/month....actually hit 13lbs several months in a row. And, that was OK. I'm doing well, feel great, can fit into normal clothing, am more active. And, I know (with VERY hard work), I'll eventually get that kick in the rear I need to lose that last 25.
Don't sweat the small stuff people. A loss is a loss and you will get to where you want to be if you give it all you have and don't give up!

First of all, congratulations on losing 70+ pounds. That seems like very very good weight loss to me.
My expectations pre-surgery and my actual experience post-surgery have differed to some extent. For one thing, I don't get restriction from every food that I eat-- carbs pretty much slide right through my sleeve, including all kinds of vegetables. The only thing that really gives me a feeling of fullness is protein.
My weight loss has been very good, I've lost a lot fairly quickly (remember I started a lot heavier than you did), but I am just now starting to experience a slight slowing down of the weight loss-- about 2 pounds a week now from 3.5-4 a few weeks ago. I know it is totally normal for this to happen, though I constantly question whether I'm eating right, getting enough exercise.
My only real problem with the sleeve is that I didn't elect to have it sooner. It is truly a powerful, great tool.
