Best restaurant dessert choices (besides none that is)

Every once in a blue moon I would like to go out for dessert with my girls.  Does anyone out there know of a chain restaurant that has a sensible choice?  I am not looking to do a 600 calorie dessert, but up to 300 is Ok.

Can our order something that a few of you would split?

Thanks, Diana

Applebee's has dessert shooters - dessert in a shot glass - along with their other regular sized desserts.  If the restaurant doesn't have small desserts like the shooters, I just split with someone.

Just a caution, my experience is that sugar on an empty stomach is not a good thing.  I don't dump, but I get queasy and it's unpleasant.  Eat some protein before you go out for your dessert!

Logan's Steakhouse has a similar shot glass dessert. They call it a "bucket". The brownie and ice cream one is pretty good. Olive Garden has micro size desserts, too. Or just check out this article: http://health.yahoo.net/experts/eatthis/10-restaurant-desser ts-under-400-calories

PF Chang's has small items. Some restaurants do an after dinner cheese plate.

They do. My recently had it. I also like Cheesecake Factory because of their skinnylicious menu.

Thank you all for the suggestions :)  I had forgotten about the shot glass desserts, although i used to order those by the trio for myself :(  There are 3 of us though so we could share the trio, and those restaurants are near us too.  We don't have a cheesecake factory, but my that sounds dangerous so kinda glad we don't!  Ended up last night just picking up some Edys slow churned ice cream and kept it under the goal.

Thanks again :)

You could get one of those dessert shots they are very small.  Definitely under 300 calories.

PF Changs has really good ones.

Chili's has them too.
