Windex to the rescue!

So I've been delaying the inevitable for about a year.  My wedding ring is waaaaaay too tight.  I'm continually getting rashes under the ring if moisture gets caught under it.  And they hurt like a summabich!  And when flying or in a warm climate?  My finger puts Barney to shame.

I really don't want to be in the hospital before surgery and they're like, " We've got to cut it off".  Not my beautiful ring.  blush

Well I started searching online and they said Windex could help get a ring off.  I've been trying to get it off for months.  Lo and behold, it worked!  It took me a very painful 15 minutes, but I got the sucker off (not that I wanted to cuz I lurve my man!)

This weekend I'll head to Target and get an inexpensive band to wear until I can comfortably wear the real thing!

I'm owning my body.  It doesn't own me!

Just wait until you have to have it sized DOWN. I lost 2.5 ring sizes so far :)

I learned about Windex when trying on my rings many years ago at the jewelry store.  They had it right there and used it to help get any stuck rings off.  Nice job on research!

Hi ParisGirl, I'm glad you got your ring off. Like sleevergirl said, just wait until you size it down because you will have to! Best of luck with everything. Love ya!

Also, you need to know that you are sweetest and most sincere person that I've never met. laugh

Paris,
Your ring size will drop fast. At 3 weeks my ring size went from a 11.5 to a 10.
It will happen in the blink of an eye. Good to know that windex works if I'm ever in a pinch!

Be Blessed,
Michael
