Hi Keith,

Isnt it just rediculous how the scale can affect our mood?Zif it didnt we wouldnt have needed to vent, would we?

The fab thing is,now after 8,5 months I get on the scale, get PO'd and then just remind myself that I am being good, sodd the scale...lol...and I feel ok.Then, when rhe scale dos this to me for too long,I say,let me show you and I drop my cals to 400 for 2 days and I drop.Doing this is super difficult mentally so often I wait for a week or 2 before I do this.

Little tip, tomorrow when you get up just say screw it and dont weigh.Just walk away and see how much better your day will be.

The stall will break when it will break, its normal and even though your not exercising have nothing to do with this.(I stall when I exercise)

I am glad you posted today as well! This week I have stayed the same gone up 2 and back to the same, all the while not changing anything I was doing last week! I have felt frustrated because I am soooo afraid of failing or doing something wrong with what I eat or do. I just want this to work so badly!  Oh I am 4 weeks out 5 on Monday so it sounds like this is normal?

Yes, completely normal. Up 2 is probably due to water retention. Water is very heavy and if you don't get enough fluid you will retain water. 64oz is the minimum you should get. You really should probably get closer to 90 or 100 (maybe more). Definitely more if you are working out. My first stall lasted 10 days, the next week I dropped 11 lbs. I know this is normal but still it is frustrating.

I too highly recommend measuring . . .that is what got me through the frustration of stalls.  I didnt measure at first but was encouraged to do so and I am glad I did!!  Best of luck to you!!

On the journey to something new . . .

You are kidding RIGHT? You have lost 56 lbs in 2 months.... your body is just rearranging itself and trying to figure out what in the heck happened.  Stay off the scale... I put mine in the trunk of my car and just ignored it when I was getting frustrated.
