Save me from the Chinese Buffet!!
VSG on 11/30/12
I think they may have crab legs at this time of year, and they usually always have chilled peel and eat shrimp - if you like seafood, those would be a great choice as they are cooked "cleanly" ***edit: sorry, just saw that you are allergic to shellfish, so that's out obviously***
Also, they usually have a grill area with grilled chicken, beef etc. that are basically plain (with sauces available on the side).
Although it can definitely be overwhelming, the great thing about buffets is that you don't have to rider a big meal or struggle to find one thing that you can eat - you have the option of trying a small amount of various things.
Good luck :)

Congrats on doing so well !!! Chinese food, for me, is my choice any day and any meal. My surgery is next month and that will be the food I mourn. That being said, I would eat before party and then take advantage of the salad bar if I want something.
I'm sure you will do great and make wise choices!
